Lytron is a market leader and manufacturer of high-performance cooling products for use in the medical, semiconductor and aerospace markets. Our continued growth has created an immediate opening for a Project Engineer. We are looking for a highly motivated design engineer with excellent communication skills who can manage new product development projects and write proposals to win new business. This position requires creativity and the ability to sell your ideas internally and to customers.
Design electrical and control panels with high and low voltages, selecting electrical components.
Design control solutions, PID and others.
PLC, PCB (C++), temperature controller and VFD programming.
Develop and execute verification test plans.
Write test procedures and engineering reports.
Manage the electrical panel portion for new product development. Ensure that cost, performance and schedule goals are achieved. Actively manage risk mitigation efforts.
BS degree in electrical engineering and 7+ years of experience
Experience with electrical systems and controls
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with UL / CE product compliance
Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly methods
BSEE or MSEE degree and design experience electrical panels and controls.
IoT and PCB design experience is desireable.
Experience managing NPI programs is a plus.
