Preventing Corrosion in Cooling Systems Water and water/glycol solutions are typical heat transfer fluids used in cooling systems. Although the fluids are the lifeblood for your heat transfer applications, they can also cause corrosion within your systems. This corrosion can result in a reduction in system thermal performance. However, there are strategies to significantly minimize corrosion... Full Article

New 2006 Catalog
Our new, completely updated catalog arrives in April! It incorporates more technical information, including an "Introduction to Thermal Engineering" and details on how to select the right thermal solution. More than 100 standard products and samples of custom products are featured. The catalog introduces the new cost-effective Press-Lock CP12, tubed cold plate and new high-performance copper cold plate technology. The new LCS20 liquid-to-liquid cooling system and the titanium plate-fin heat exchanger for applications that require high temperature operation, ultra-efficiency, and light
weight are described as well. Reserve your free copy of the 2006 catalog! Simply verify your mailing address at Lytron.com.

Web-Based Units Converter & Equation Solver Lytron recently launched its free web-based Units Converter and Equation Solver. The Units Converter allows engineers to convert from one unit of measure to another, simply by entering a value and its unit of measure and then clicking on the preferred unit. With the Equation Solver, engineers can select from one of six standard thermal equations and enter their preferred units for each variable. Lytron created these reference tools for engineers to save time in solving equations. The Units Converter and Equation Solver can be downloaded or used online
at http://www.lytron.com/support/units_index.htm.
