Custom flat tube oil coolers offer many customization possibilities.

With our vacuum-brazed custom oil cooler heat exchangers, three different flat tube widths are available and the length and number of tubes can be varied. The flat tube can be bent into a 3⁄8˝ (3 mm) inside radius without buckling, so heat exchangers can be manufactured in a curved shape if needed. Custom heat exchanger fittings and manifolds can be added, and oil coolers can be painted or anodized for extra protection.

Flat Tube Heat Exchanger to Cool Hydraulics An original equipment manufacturer (OEM) needed a heat exchanger to cool hydraulics on a commercial airplane. Lytron designed a custom flat tube heat exchanger, optimized for performance with poor heat transfer fluids such as oil. The heat exchanger was a perfect fit for the application, with custom dimensions, a custom inlet/outlet configuration, a custom mounting configuration, and a special coating.

Oil Cooler Heat Exchanger with Curved Tubes One of Lytron's OEM customers needed a heat exchanger for cooling a high end piece of equipment. Lytron designed a custom oil cooler with curved tubes to fit precisely within the machine.

Heat Exchanger with Single Continuous Piece of Aluminum Flat Tube A Lytron customer required a commercial condenser. This condenser was created using a single continuous piece of aluminum flat tube.

Flat Tube Heat Exchanger with Custom Inlet and Outlet Configuration One of Lytron's OEM customers needed to make the move from air cooling to liquid cooling. Their application had a very high heat load that could no longer be removed by air alone. The customer turned to Lytron to provide a thermal solution for cooling their electronics. Lytron designed a large heat exchanger with a custom inlet and outlet configuration, making the system integration easy for the customer and the plumbing easy for the end user.
