Lytron designs and manufactures custom cold plate assemblies, providing Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) with an innovative thermal solution that meets system interface challenges as well as demanding performance specifications. Cold plate assemblies include an aluminum vacuum brazed cold plate, copper cold plate, tubed cold plate, or chassis, as well as any number of other components that make integration of your cold plate faster and easier. The simplest cold plate assemblies are cold plates with fittings, while the most complicated are major sub-assemblies or entire cooling systems ready to drop into your system or equipment.

Value-Added Cold Plate Assembly This custom cold plate assembly features a vacuum brazed cold plate with docking pins on a robust mounting configuration. The cold plate was designed and manufactured for a defense system.

Cold Plate Large Value-Added Assembly Lytron designed and manufactured a large, vacuum-brazed cold plate assembly for one of its customers. We also added fittings and hoses. This value-added assembly simplified the customer’s system integration.

Cold Plate with Fittings and Hoses Lytron added fittings and hoses to a vacuum-brazed cold plate with custom machining. We can also add components such as manifolds and quick disconnects, or incorporate sensors, controllers, and other accessories into the design.

Cold Plate Assembly with Heat Exchanger & Fan This robust cold plate assembly, designed for a military application, has a cold plate consisting of copper flat tubes in a conversion coated aluminum base plate. Copper tubes connect the cold plate to a heat exchanger and a fan.

Tubed Cold Plates Assembly Four tubed cold plates are connected via their stainless steel tubes to create a cooling loop. This custom liquid cooling loop was designed for an OEM for a semiconductor metrology application.

CP30 Cold Plate with IGBTs A standard CP30 aluminum cold plate is shown here with four IGBTs bolted on. Lytron designs custom cold plates and assemblies for electronics cooling as well as many other applications.

Cold Plate Assembly for Medical X-Ray Equipment Lytron designed and manufactured this custom cold plate assembly for a medical equipment manufacturer. It consists of two Lytron Press Lock(TM) tubed cold plates with insulation, copper tubing, hoses, clamps, and quick disconnect fittings.
