Lytron Inc. Reports Growth for the 14th Consecutive Year

November 19, 2008, Woburn, MA, USA: Lytron Inc., technology leader and designer and manufacturer of high end liquid cooling systems and components, announced today that it has completed its 14th consecutive year of growth. This growth has been primarily in sales of custom designed cooling products to Fortune 100 original equipment manufacturers (OEM). Although Lytron sells standard products, the majority of the company’s revenue comes from custom products that are built to customers’ specifications. Over the past 50 years, Lytron has expanded its technology offerings to encompass all of the thermal components in a liquid cooling loop. Today, Lytron’s products include cold plates, liquid cooled chassis, recirculating chillers, cooling systems, heat exchangers, subassemblies, bleed valves, and more.

“Despite challenging economic times throughout the world, both today and in past years, Lytron’s sales have continued to grow. This is a testament to Lytron’s high quality, custom engineered products and superior customer service, which have fueled consistent year-over-year growth. With this growth and careful financial planning and execution, Lytron is extremely well positioned to weather an economic recession,” notes Lytron’s Chief Financial Officer David Long, “Lytron’s OEM customers can be confident that Lytron will be able to support their current requirements today, next year, and for the life of their programs.”

Lytron completed its 2008 fiscal year on October 31. At year end, the company employed 200 people, the majority of which are located at its Woburn, Massachusetts facility. In 2006, the company doubled its factory space and increased its manufacturing capabilities to accommodate its sustained growth.
