Lytron Hires Kathleen Schoonmaker as Vice President of Operations
December 11, 2008, Woburn, MA, USA: Lytron announced today the hire of Ms. Kathleen Schoonmaker as vice president of operations. Schoonmaker has extensive experience managing multi-plant operations, implementing lean manufacturing strategies, and developing strong global supplier partnerships. She will be responsible for manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering, production control, quality, purchasing, and service.

Schoonmaker has a BA from Syracuse University, an MCRP from Harvard, and an MBA from Suffolk University. She spent more than 10 years working for an engineered components company in their fastener division, where she served as vice president of operations. Schoonmaker later spent 10 years working for a $200 million manufacturer of fire protection systems and electro-mechanical and electronic controls, where she held director and vice president positions. Just prior to joining Lytron, Schoonmaker was working as a management consultant.
Lytron's standard and custom cold plates, cooling systems, and heat exchangers are found in the medical, laser, military/aerospace, power electronics, analytical, and semiconductor markets. The company engineers custom components and systems for OEMs as well as provides off-the-shelf standard products to OEMs and end users.
