Lytron Launches German Website

Map of Germany

October 26, 2006, Woburn, MA: Lytron, Inc., designer and manufacturer of high performance heat transfer systems and components, announced today the launch of its new German website. The website, www.Lytron.de, contains detailed product information, application notes, a thermal management guide, a thermal primer, upcoming events, and more, all in German. The site will also contain an interactive product selector to help engineers find the right solution for their applications.

Lytron is located north of Boston in the United States and provides thermal solutions for original equipment manufacturers and end users around the world. The company sells its products directly to manufacturers as well as through its distributors. In Europe, AMS Technologies distributes Lytron's standard products for small volume orders. Lytron's European Sales Manager Christoph Bauckhage notes, "The translation of our website into German further exhibits Lytron's commitment to its European customers. Lytron is well positioned to serve its customers in the U.S. as well as internationally, with efficient communications, customer visits, on-time deliveries, and, most importantly, the ability to meet very demanding specifications for custom applications. Our highly skilled and experienced engineering team provides exceptional value in thermal solutions."

Over 40% of Lytron's employees are degreed engineers. The company's expertise is in thermal engineering and custom liquid cooling solutions. Lytron can customize a component's or system's performance, physical envelope, material selection, inlet/outlet configuration, and offers many other options for any liquid cooling application. Lytron also reviews and re-designs existing cooling loops to improve performance and reduce size and cost. This saves manufacturers money and valuable system space. In addition, Lytron's engineering laboratory can test any part that it makes in order to validate designs or test finished product. The company's in-house test facility includes wind tunnels, flow stations, data acquisition stations, refrigeration test equipment, particle counters, a microstructure analysis system, and various flow, temperature, and pressure instruments. Complete shock and vibration testing and agency approvals are available on most of the Lytron components.

Lytron's products, which include cold plates, cooling systems, and heat exchangers, provide liquid cooling for medical equipment, power electronics, lasers, semiconductor equipment, analytical instrumentation, military and aerospace applications, and more. The company has been ISO 9001 certified since 1996 and its products are compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive.
