New Thermal Management Reference Guide & Catalog
April 25, 2006, Woburn, MA: Lytron, Inc., the Total Thermal Solutions™ company, announced the release of its completely updated thermal management reference guide and catalog. The reference provides detailed descriptions of more than 100 standard products, including cold plates, chillers, cooling systems, and heat exchangers. In addition, customized designs are shown, highlighting Lytron's engineering and manufacturing capabilities. The reference contains photos, product features, options, accessories, applications, drawings, specifications, and fittings - everything the user needs to select a component or system. It also includes extensive technical information, such as an "Introduction to Thermal Engineering", an overview of the Lytron specification-to-production process, and step-by-step instructions on how to select the right thermal solution.
The updated reference guide and catalog also introduces several new standard products and customizable technologies, including the cost-effective Press-Lock CP12, tubed cold plate and the high performance copper cold plate technology. Other new additions to the reference include the LCS20 liquid-to-liquid cooling system (a cooling system that uses chilled facility water to provide 20 kW of cooling capacity in a compact package), and the new titanium plate-fin heat exchangers, for applications that require high temperature operation, ultra-efficiency, and light weight.
Lytron's products are used in many applications, including military and aerospace, medical and industrial lasers, medical imaging, analytical instrumentation, power electronics, semiconductor equipment, cabinet cooling, supercomputers, machine tools, and telecommunications.
