Lytron Introduces Rack-Mountable Cooling System
April 1, 2002, Woburn, MA - Lytron, the Total Thermal Solutions ™ company, introduces five 19 inch rack-mountable cooling systems. Compatible with standard 19 inch rack mount systems, these units provide up to 2100 Watts of cooling capacity. Rack mounting reduces the customer's floor space requirement and improves the overall system compactness. They are available with copper, stainless steel, and aluminum heat exchangers and are compatible with a variety of cooling fluids, such as water, deionized water, EGW, and oil. These systems are used in a variety of applications including cooling lasers, semiconductor capital equipment, analytical instruments, and medical equipment.
"Our OEM customers constantly strive to reduce the size of their product. To help in this effort Lytron has introduced a family of rack-mount cooling systems," says Charlie Carswell, Lytron's President. "Because these turn-key products are fully compatible with standard 19 inch rack mount systems, our customer just inserts the unit into the rack, makes the electrical and fluid connections, and it is ready for operation."
Three different cooling capacities, 500, 1300, 2100 Watts, are available with a variety of electrical and pump options to customize the system. The versatility of this line allows Lytron to modify the unit to virtually any application.
