4000 Series Stainless Steel Heat Exchangers increases by as much as 33%
October 20, 2000 - Lytron Incorporated, the Total Thermal Solutions™ company, recently implemented proprietary manufacturing changes which resulted in significant performance improvement in its 4000 Series Stainless Steel Tube-Fin Heat Exchangers. Lytron's larger heat exchangers, such as the 4320, saw a 33% performance boost while the smaller units, such as the 4110, improved 5%. Ideal for applications that use deionized water, or corrosive liquids as the coolant, these tube-fin heat exchangers deliver ultra-efficient heat transfer and maximum reliability in liquid-to-air cooling loops.
Charles Carswell, President of Lytron, said, "Lytron engineers have been refining our heat exchanger manufacturing process for over 40 years so we can guarantee high performance, and leak-free products. Our continuous improvement culture and state-of-the-art production facility were the basis for these proprietary manufacturing improvements. The advancements prove Lytron's market leader status."
"Our customers will benefit by receiving additional performance at no additional cost and size. Some customers may be able to use a smaller size unit, saving valuable real estate," he continued.
These compact units are fabricated by expanding heavy-walled, pre-cleaned, stainless steel tubing into copper cooling fins for precise metal-to-metal surface contact, the tube-fin assembly is then welded to stainless steel tube sheets. Finally, the heat exchanger core is fitted with a fan plate that contains slotted mounting flanges. Each unit is 150 psi tested to provide leak-free reliability.
Seven different sizes are available with straight tube, beaded tube, or AN fittings. The fittings and inlet/outlet can be modified for high volume applications. Lytron also stocks heat exchanger accessories such as fans, power cords, and finger guards for convenient one-stop shopping.
Lytron is the only ISO 9001-certified, Total Thermal Solutions™ provider. ISO certification provides the assurance these liquid-cooling products are defect-free and able to provide years of reliable, leak-tight service.
Lytron Incorporated designs, develops and manufactures high performance heat transfer systems and components. Its cooling products include recirculating chillers, compact and portable non-refrigerated cooling systems, aluminum-oil coolers, copper tube-fin heat exchangers, stainless steel tube-fin heat exchangers, compact cold plates, and OEM coils.
