Market Manager based in Woburn, MA (USA)

Lytron is a market leader in the development and manufacturer of liquid cooling solutions for the medical, semiconductor and aerospace industries. We are conveniently located in Woburn, MA and are looking for an energetic person to join our marketing team as a Marketing Manager.

This position will be responsible for all markets that Lytron serves, however we are looking for someone with experience in the semiconductor market to further growth.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Works closely with the management team to create and execute the go-to-market strategy and plans for new and existing products and services globally. Develops and implements short and long range market specific strategies and programs, including sales channels, partnerships, and acquisitions, that provide strategic business opportunities. Develops, analyzes, and implements strategies, plans, programs and policies related to the organization’s marketing function. Works with senior leadership to develop company strategy.
  2. Be the expert on Lytron’s buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and how to effectively position in the market to ensure Lytron always wins.
  3. Handles all aspects of market research, including competitive monitoring, customer surveys, market planning, development of marketing media and advertising.
  4. Tracks trends in new potential and existing markets. Recommends actions to capitalize on market opportunities and to reduce competitive threats. Identifies new potential customers in existing or new target markets. Creates customer retention programs. With senior leadership, assess new opportunities for custom product. Creates product roadmaps. Generates product specifications for new product development.
  5. Creates and implement marketing communications plan to achieve corporate goals, generate leads, drive revenue, increase market share, and achieve optimal brand awareness. Approves and directs the development of all advertising and promotional programs, including the website. Accountable for marketing budget.
  6. Monitors industry pricing trends and pricing competitiveness in the marketplace. Provides direction to management in formulating knowledgeable pricing and profit margin decisions. Ensures pricing effectiveness to increase business while maximizing profitability potential.


  • BS in Engineering or related technical field. MBA desirable
  • 7-10 years of experience marketing technical products with demonstrated success.
  • Marketing experience in the semiconductor capital equipment market a must, experience in medical capital equipment a plus.
  • Strong team player possessing excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage numerous simultaneous projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Consistently meet high performance standards including timely completion of tasks, project management, field sales support, and customer interaction.
  • US Citizen or authorized to work in the USA
