Key Accounts Manager - CA

This is an excellent opportunity for the technical person with sales experience. You will interface with engineers and top-level decision makers who specify and purchase custom liquid cooling components and systems. You will consistently achieve or exceed the territory sales plan by maintaining existing OEM business and developing incremental business at existing accounts as well as penetrate and grow business at new accounts.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • OEM Account Management
  • Develop an account strategy for target accounts with objectives and tactics to achieve sales goals.
  • Demonstrate clear product/technology expertise to confidently serve as the field-based expert.
  • Carry out your strategy at each target account to grow the business, and ensure that Lytron is supporting your efforts as necessary.
  • Build a broad base of support among key decision makers and influencers at target accounts, in order to win new business and have internal Lytron champions at each account.
  • Proactively identify and anticipate customer requirements, expectations, and needs.
  • Determine customer's buying behavior and metrics for supplier relationships.
  • Represent the voice of the customer within the company. Oversee customer satisfaction and loyalty measurements, identify and address key issues in a timely manner.
  • Sell the opportunity within Lytron. Define and drive the custom solution design process and develop a differentiated value proposition. Collaborate and validate the value of the solution/value proposition with the customer. Create winning presentations and proposals and steer sales activities to close opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms on orders, blanket orders and long term agreements, ensuring win-win outcomes.

Lead Generation

  • Follow up on leads generated from website, trade shows, and other marketing activities to identify prospects that are a good fit with Lytron’s core competencies.
  • Work with applications engineering to identify OEM opportunities.
  • Network to generate leads.
  • Obtain meetings with new customers, present Lytron capabilities, and identify opportunities.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be local to our Fremont, CA office.
  • Be energetic, highly self-confident and present a positive self-image.
  • Have 8+ years of technical sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Have experience developing target account plans, working towards sales goals, and a demonstrated history of exceeding those goals.
  • Have a BS in engineering or related technical field.
  • Have the ability to build relationships with engineers, buyers, supply chain management, and key managers at our OEM customers.
  • Have experience selling a technical product to OEM accounts, networking and generating new business in the US.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
