Key Account Manager - Europe based in Woburn, MA (USA)

Lytron is a market leader in the development and manufacture of liquid cooling solutions for the medical, semi-conductor and aerospace industries.

The role of the European Account Manager is to be the interface between Lytron and key European customers. In this position, the account manager will support existing customers and interface with engineers, purchasers and top-level decision makers who specify and procure custom liquid-cooling components and systems. The European account manager will ensure that Lytron activities are aligned with the customer expectations, and will regularly interact with the engineering, production, and quality teams.

The role is suited to a confident, well-organized, engineering sales professional with account or program management experience, ideally who has worked in a similar role in a custom-engineered products company. This position will be based in Woburn, MA and report directly to the European Sales Manager.

Key Activities:

  • Develop key relationships with target customers in Europe.
  • Develop sales strategy for target accounts with clear objectives and tactics.
  • Proactively identify and anticipate customer requirements, expectations and needs.
  • Clearly communicate to the Lytron Project, Engineering, Marketing, Quality and Production teams the customer’s requirements and expectations.
  • Contribute to the development of the company by inputting technical, market, or customer knowledge and experience.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms on orders and long-term agreements.
  • Create winning presentations and proposals and steer sales activities to close opportunities.
  • Identify, attend and organize seminars and trade shows in target industries.

Position requirements:

  • BS in Engineering or related technical field
  • Experience in managing and developing relationships with large OEM account.
  • Experience selling or designing technical products in the semiconductor or medical industry is a plus.
  • Technical knowledge of thermal products such as heat exchangers and refrigeration systems is a plus.
  • Business acumen, social skills and multicultural understanding is a must.
  • German language proficiency is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel overseas (10 times a year) is an absolute requirement.
  • Attention to details, organization skills as well as clear and concise communication, are a must.
